The app is provided as is

deben is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be error-free or that every message will be read correctly. Always check important numbers against your bank.

Not financial advice

deben helps you see your money. It does not give financial, investment, or tax advice, and its "safe to spend today" figure is a personal planning aid, not a recommendation. Decisions about your money are your own.

Your data is your responsibility

Your data lives only on your device. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and for keeping your own backups. Because we hold nothing on any server, we cannot recover your data or a forgotten backup password.

Acceptable use

Use deben for your own personal money tracking. Do not attempt to misuse, tamper with, or reverse the app in order to harm others, and do not use it to break the law.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, deben and its maker are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or website, including any decision made based on what it shows. Your use is at your own risk.
