deben answers the one question that matters: how much is safe to spend today. It takes your income, sets aside your bills and savings, subtracts what you have already spent, and shows a single, honest number. It is a plan, not your bank balance, so it never pressures you and never pretends.
Automatic capture from your messages
Turn on capture and deben quietly logs each payment as it arrives, reading the transaction messages your bank, wallet, or payment service already sends you. It works out the amount, the merchant, the date, and the account, so there is nothing to type. You review and confirm, and you can teach deben a new bank in about a minute. All of this happens on your device.
Add anything by hand
deben works fully by hand, with or without message reading. Add an expense, income, or transfer in a few taps, and it counts toward the same safe-to-spend number. Automatic capture just saves you the typing; you are never required to turn it on.

Real promotions get buried in your inbox and expire unused. deben lifts them into an Offers list, matched to where you actually shop, so you can catch a discount before it is gone. It reads only brand promotions, never your personal messages, and it all stays on your phone. These are offers you already receive, not ads: deben carries no advertising and tracks nothing.
Private and on-device
deben has no account, no sign-up, and no servers. It declares no internet permission at all, so nothing it holds can ever leave your phone. Encrypted backups you control
Make an encrypted backup with a password only you know, saved wherever you choose through your system file picker. A backup is never uploaded anywhere, and only you can open it.
Works the way real life does
deben is fully usable offline, with nothing to sync. It reads your payment messages in any currency, and follows your phone's language, currency, and time zone, so it is not tied to one country or provider.
